- The `Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystems Dynamics' is from a scientific point of view active developer of EcoGRID.
- The Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality
- The Ministry has appointed an independend Nature Data Authority that has amongs others the task to provide a nature data facility.
- Stichting VeldOnderzoek Flora en Fauna
- The VOFF foundation is a cooperation between 10 private data collecting organisations (PGO's)
